The latest Eve 6 Videos and a farewell from Ross
As I am sure you can all tell, this website rarely gets updated anymore. Luckily, the hosting for the site should last for a LONG time going forward and the message board will always be around.
That being said, there are still people out there going to the shows and capturing high quality video. One such person is long-time message board poster "gwenabe". If you want to keep up with the latest Eve 6 live videos, I HIGHLY recommend checking out her YouTube channel. The audio quality is what you would expect from a digital camera, but the video quality is great. Don't forget to click the link below the videos that say "watch in high quality". Zoom it in to full screen and you have a whole bunch of great Eve 6 live videos to watch!
As the years have passed, the internet has progressed to the point where this website is no longer the valuable tool it once was. Youtube has replaced the need for uploading and downloading video, Myspace has made it easier for the band to communicate with the fans, so I am no longer a necessary go-between with "inside info". Finally, I have grown older and my interest in following the day-to-day happenings of Eve 6 has waned. That doesn't mean I don't have a "google alert" set up for the term "Eve 6" anymore, or that I don't visit the message board every day, but it does mean that running a website of this kind is not high on my priorities list. After last Spring, I made a decision to not travel more than a half hour to see an Eve 6 show - between gas prices, work schedules, and other responsibilities, it didn't make sense anymore.
I would like to personally thank every Eve 6 fan who has ever happened upon this website and made it the success that it has been over the years. Because of word of mouth, the guys in the band once heard about the site back in 2003 and wanted to meet the creator (me). That buzz allowed us to obtain the exclusive b-sides such as 405 and Burning Out from the band and receive permission to post all of the bootlegs. I also would be remiss not to thank all of the band members of Eve 6, past and present (and their families) who always treated my girlfriend and I as one of their own and allowed us into their lives back before the band broke up un 2004. Those were some of the best and most memorable times of my young adult life and I will always be thankful for the fun I had "partying like a rock star" with the band I grew up listening to.
If there are any New York Yankee fans who read this website and are fans of my writing, I suggest checking out NYY Stadium Insider - my New York Yankees blog written from the angle of an educated season ticket holder. The website has received some mainstream media attention and is often linked to from high-traffic sites in the blogosphere.
Before I go, I will leave you with the latest Eve 6 video uploaded to YouTube by the ever present "Gwenabe"
